The Wardhall Dairy is a small family run business based at Ewe Close Farm, near Arkleby in North West Cumbria. It was set up in August 2007 by Lynn & Thomas Ballantine Dykes.

Lynn is in charge of creating the delicious products and Thomas handles the paper work.

The dairy is just one of many activities taking place at Ewe Close Farm where ten different types of sheep, cattle and pigs are bred. The farm will in due course be applying for Rare Breeds Survival Trust Approved Farm Park Status.

However, it is already hosting school visits to coincide with the 'Year of Food and Farming' and the LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) open farm initiative, in which farms nationally have been invited to open their gates to the puplic.
